KIM SUNG-JIN

Mr. Kim Sung-Jin, a dedicated educator, sociologist, and journalist who has made Sri Lanka his home out of love for its people and a passion for fostering healthy and happy lives. Born in Korea, Mr. Kim has devoted his life to promoting social equality and advocating for marginalized communities. With a background in education and social work spanning over two decades.

Mr. Kim Sung-Jin has dedicated himself to supporting migrants, foreign workers, and marginalized individuals, notably through his tenure at the Pohang Migrants Center in Korea.
Currently, he serves as a Global Korean Research Fellow at the University of Kyung-Hee in Korea and is a member of the Peaceful Advisory Council Southwest Asia Chapter, contributing to promoting peace and harmony in the region.
As a journalist for World-Korean Magazine, he amplifies voices and highlights pressing issues.
Mr. Kim is also an appointed professor at Sri Jinarathana Vocational College, sharing his expertise in foreign languages.
He serves as the Representative of World Korea Group Lanka Academy, furthering his commitment to education and community empowerment.
With a Bachelor’s degree in Korean Literature from Dae-Gu Cyber University in Korea and a Master’s degree in Social Science from the University of Peradeniya in Sri Lanka, Mr. Kim holds certifications as a Korean language teacher, demonstrating his dedication to cross-cultural communication and education.
Through his tireless efforts, Mr. Kim Sung-Jin continues to inspire positive change and make meaningful contributions to society, both locally and internationally.
